Things have been moving over here something fierce, and they are all exciting things.
The thing that is at the forefront of my mind right now is that one of my Book Accelerator Programs, where people write their book in 4.5 days, is starting next Friday, September 14th!
This particular session will be in person, but never fear – if you don’t live in the Quad City area, the online program will be beginning very soon.
If you’re thinking “how in the world can someone write a book in 4.5 days” or “I would love to write a book in only 4.5 days – how is that possible?!” you can reply back to this message and I would love to explain to you the program…
What I found with coaching people one on one through writing their book over longer periods was this:
- Sometimes their voice would change in the writing depending on what was going on in their life or what mood they were in when they wrote
- Not having the support of a community made it easy for them to get in their head about it
- They would beat themselves up about not writing at the times they had set aside to do so
- While writing a book was a goal for them, it wasn’t the first thing they needed to do to make money in their business and keep it running
Thus, the Book Accelerator Program was created where we keep it fun and light and make it enjoyable because I completely believe that:
The energy we put into our book is what people will feel out of it
Which makes it that much more important to make sure that it is fun, from a place of joy and in flow rather than berating ourselves about what we didn’t get done…
You know, doing that “shoulding all over ourselves” thing again…
